All American Balloon Supply offers a wide range of balloon educational opportunities with classes that include Basic Balloon training (for those just starting), Intermediate Classes for hands-on arch, column, backdrop and canopy building, as well as Business Classes that teach presentation skills, contracts, pricing formulas, balloon math and marketing tips. These classes are taught regularly every other month on Wednesday nights, with Beginning Classes the first week, Intermediate the second week, etc. Also available the first Monday of every month,  Balloon Jam, taught by Laura Caldwell, 5:30-9:30 PM. Balloon Jam offers hands-on and interactive learning of twisting skills for all experience levels.

On alternate months, weekly classes focus on topics such as lighting, topiaries, beginning to advanced twisting, centerpiece construction, framing and equipment use. Wedding and seasonal themed classes are also regularly conducted throughout the year. These include Valentine's, Mother's Day, Graduation, Halloween, Christmas and New Year's, among others. All American Balloon Supply also hosts the monthly meeting of the SoCal QBN Chapter, an active group that offers guest speakers, networking and business referrals. Membership is open.

Joker Party Supply offers educational classes throughout the year. The classes take place every 1-2 months and focus on the upcoming season or trends. The classes are typically held on Tuesdays with the flexibility of two sessions offered that day: a morning class (9am-12pm) and an afternoon class (1:30pm-4:30pm). These classes are also used to introduce new and innovative products to help students to be more efficient in their work putting more $$ in their pockets. The classes are fun and educational with raffles and prizes at the end of each session! Pre-registration is $20 or $30 at the door.

burton Burton offers annual workshops to those in the balloon, floral, and gift basket and decorating trades. Ballooniversity takes place usually the last Friday and Saturday in July with a Decorators’ Workshop (a more intensive balloon decorating workshop) offered the Wednesday and Thursday prior.

burton Burton also offers many educational materials including the QBN materials required to become a CBA, testing for which is held during Ballooniversity.
Also available are videos and a computer program to further educate retailers/decorators in the areas of decorating and calculating costs.

Balloon Room offers on location, six Mini Seminars a year featuring the hottest instructors in the industry for decor and entertaining. Along with QBN educational materials, study groups for the CBA Practical Exam are also available.
Balloon Room's next event is scheduled for Thursday, September 25, 2008, 3:30-7:30 PM (or later, WE LOVE TO JAM!!). This event will feature fantastic "Sports Figure" character designs (think Olympics) and  instruction on creating non-round displays using a variety of frames and bases with popular guest instructor, Marvin Hardy. Marvin Hardy is the author of numerous entertaining and twisting books and videos and has been honored with a scholarship program named, The Marvin Hardy Pioneer Visionary Scholarship. Balloon World, Inc. offers a two-day Open House/Seminar twice a year which includes a full scale hands-on Basics Class for beginners. In January, the focus is on Valentine’s products and ideas, and Spring/Summer focuses on weddings, parties, proms, etc. Instructors and Manufacturer Representatives conduct 45 minute presentations on the latest products and ideas while attendees enjoy Open House meals, giveaways and shopping discounts throughout the day. The Open House concludes with a Grand Prize drawing for items like diamonds, electronics, and balloon equipment.

Balloon World also hosts a monthly QBN Chapter meeting with occasional guest speakers and stocks all QBN educational materials as well.
